Is Chelsea pottery worth anything?
1 Answer

Yes, some Chelsea pottery is worth something. Collectors often seek out antique Chelsea pieces, categorizing them by their maker's marks. Some highly collectible porcelain wares from the maker come from the triangle period, which lasted from 1743 to 1750; the raised anchor period, which lasted from 1750 to 52; the red anchor period, which lasted from 1752 to 56 and the gold anchor period, which lasted from 1758 to 70. Some 18th- and 19th-century figurines, decorative boxes, teapots and other tableware may also be valuable, depending on the style, type, age and condition. A certified appraiser or knowledgeable antique dealer can be of assistance when determining how much Chelsea pottery may be worth. On 1stDibs, find a wide variety of Chelsea porcelain.
