Out of Darkness [2019] Original Figurative Graphite on paper Size: H:38.5 cm x W:49.0 cm x D:0.2cm Sold Unframed Please note that insitu images are purely an indication of how a piece may look Out Of Darkness is created by using graphite pencils on 300gsm 140lb Bockingford paper. The original photograph that was used as reference was taken by myself, of a horse emerging from the darkness of it's stable. David Truman is based in Lincolnshire and David comments " I became a full time artist in 2009, following a career path of many of the disciplines of Graphic Design working for Advertising Agencies and Art studio’s. I specialise in bringing my subjects to life using watercolour and acrylic mix paintings and also graphite drawings. As far as I can remember, I have always shown an interest in Art, and Art works, and encouraged at an early age by an Uncle, who was an excellent Equine Artist, it seemed a high possibility that I too would become an artist. I attended Lincoln College of Art, where I studied Fine Art and History of Art. and then went on to graduate as a Graphic Designer, Visualiser, and Illustrator. I draw inspiration from everyday life, past and present, and have been described as an eclectic artist."
