A piano and violin emerge from dreamlike forms. In this painting, artist Lynne Meneses pays tribute to the legacies of masters and her beloved parents, who brought music into her life with love and devotion. The artwork celebrates the enduring spirit of music and memory.

About the Artist
Artist Lynne Meneses creates vibrant Expressionist and Abstract paintings that explore the intersection of emotion, color, and form. "What isn't immediately visible is the thought and intention behind each piece," says Lynne. Born with a deep love for creativity, she studied under Chen Yong Xiang in Beijing, who instilled classical foundations during the Cultural Revolution, and later under Professor Madeleine Gekiere in New York, who expanded her artistic vision. Her work reflects this dialogue between traditional and contemporary approaches, informed by her personal experiences and beliefs. Lynne paints from a sun-filled studio on the South Shore of Long Island, just a mile from the Atlantic Ocean, where the upper level is dedicated to painting and the lower level houses storage and framing. Outside the studio, she studies art to expand her practice and swims regularly to recharge, keeping her grounded and continually evolving. Her paintings invite viewers to connect with beauty, joy, and the depth of human experience.
