Béatrice Bescond is a French artist born in Brest in 1956. Bescond is mostly influenced by Pavel Filonov, Henri Michaux and François Rouan, She is also inspired by Gaston Bachelard, Carl Gustav Jung and mythology and also likes to question founding myths and archetypal figures in a joint process of figuration and disfiguration.
