This sculptural resin painting, mounted on acrylic with elegant gold standoffs, channels the sudden rush, the sparkling turbulence, and the pure relief of immersion. Layers of blue and pearlescent resin swirl in a suspended dance, echoing the fluid chaos of a summer plunge—where time slows and senses heighten. It’s a moment of release, clarity, and refreshment, frozen in motion." About the Artist: Brooke is an artist whose work captures the captivating fluidity of resin at the moment it transitions from a liquid state to solid form. With a background in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Philadelphia, where she graduated with Honors, Brooke began her career in Texas as the founder of Brushworks Murals and Artisan Studios, both of which thrived for 14 years. Her transition from faux finishes to resin art was inspired by a deep fascination with the organic flow and multidimensional depth achievable with resin, which she discovered towards the end of her mural career. Through extensive experimentation, her resin practice evolved from small-scale projects into large, gallery-worthy pieces now featured in art shows, galleries, and select retail spaces. Brooke’s work is characterized by an intuitive blend of hand-mixed colors, pearlescent powders, inks, and guided manipulation of resin with tools and natural forces like heat and gravity. Her compositions are both intentional and spontaneous, balancing the structural and organic elements that resonate with contemporary art enthusiasts. Influenced by the interplay of fluidity and form, Brooke’s work is a testament to her passion for capturing the delicate, transformative moments where art becomes a story of resilience and self-discovery.
