Inspired by the second brilliant full moon that occurred in October 2020, artist Cynthia Ligeros painted this lively abstract. Circular strokes of turquoise, dark blue, and yellow lend a playful hand, interweaving between layers of light and shadow. Pops of dark blue, red, orange, and yellow dance on the surface, reminiscent of fireflies in the night.
About the Artist
Cynthia Ligeros creates abstract, complex works that usually begin with a single driving emotion. She currently lives in Colorado and loves the work of many artists, such as Mark Rothko. Cynthia loves finding inspiration in the beauty of the Rocky Mountains. If you look closely at any of her paintings, you can find a little bit of blue sky hidden somewhere.
