After I painted a soft cloud-like painting, I countered that softness by drawing a subtle grid on this piece. It frames the image almost like looking through a window.
About the Artist
Karen’s abstract paintings are best described as an exploration in color. Often monochromatic, her work is a meditative and serene improvisation in the movement and depth of paint. Whether executed in earthy shades or vibrant tones, each painting evokes a different mood for the viewer’s contemplation.
