The painting titled "Marika, Lady of water and fire" is one of ten from the "Marika" series. It is one of the most characteristic of the energetic and expressive series, which is characterized by the use of three colors: red, blue and white. The inauguration of the series took place during the exhibition in Poland in Krakow in 2016 at the Sheraton Hotel in Krakow at the turn of 2018/2019 on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of painting by the author Tadeusz Zych. Catalog Number A0003. Painting abstract. Framed in a beautiful aged whitewashed wooden frame. Ready to Hang. Signed on the front. Tadeusz Zych b. 1968 in Krakow, Poland. Painter artist, photographer. He presented his works at dozens of individual painting and photographic exhibitions in Poland and abroad. From the history of painting periods, he fell in love with Impressionism, it became his guiding way in art. This can be seen in paintings and photographs. For many years of work, in the initial period of his adventure with art, while studying in Krakow, he specialized in copying the Impressionists and skillfully translated the essence of this direction in art also into his private workshop. This can be seen especially in recent works in the beloved technique of oil pastels. He is the author of, among others, numerous painting cycles presented to the public: "Trees" - black and white pastels, "Marika" - acrylics full of energy, and the last one "Zychan" - pastels showing mysterious figures and their interiors full of energy and color. Photo exhibitions worth highlighting are: "Life of big cities" or the only such one in the world "European Gargoyles" among the photos from this exhibition, among others gargoyles from the Notre-Dame Cathedral. Since 2020, the owner of the original Kreativ Art Gallery in Krakow, where you can see the artist's works live. A certificate of authenticity with the author's signature is delivered with the painting. From March 2025, you can view a permanent exhibition of paintings by Tadeusz Zych at the Sheraton Grand Krakow in Poland. From February 28, 2026, at the Tadeusz Kościuszko Museum on Kościuszko Mound in Krakow in Poland, Tadeusz Zych will exhibit his paintings and sculptures from the "Zychany" series. The works on display are part of the exhibition "Wisła Kraków in the Artistic Trend: The History of Football at Kościuszko Mound." The exhibition will run for one year.
