Creating on the vibrant energy of abstract expressionism, this dynamic painting process celebrates the power of growth and transformation through the image of a sprouting plant which arms out as if it is to hold the totality of man’s world. It also stretched out its body to embrace the wonders of the living sky. Through a bold and striking composition, suppressed colors free and doted white strokes, the painting invites the viewer to explore the intricate details of the natural world and to the potential for endless possibilities that exists within us all in a new light. Born in Lima, Peru, Victor-Raul Garcia was raised by his maternal grandmother with whom he immigrated to the United States at age 6. An abstract painter and collage artist, he has lived and worked in Europe and the US, and currently maintains his studio in Sullivan County, NY.
