The stories we tell ourselves ll by Maria Pierides [2022] Part of a series of paintings I worked on towards a group exhibition exploring the theme Journey. The Stories we tell ourselves is based on the idea that we can have quite self limiting beliefs at times, and how we can recognise this in ourselves to change things. When we do the hard work on ourselves, I feel that there can be quite a powerful shift.
