Anonymous Design for Triptych Above Altar British, c. 1920s Gouache 38×28.5cm Christ Pantocrator stands in the middle of the design, surrounded by the four evangelists (Saints Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) – represented by the Eagle, Bull, Lion and Angel – together with two seraphim. This is a well executed design for an as-yet unidentified location. At the bottom is a pencil description as an ‘unfinished sketch’.
