This stunning Lakeland landscape (one of a pair) by the artist Charles Leslie (1839–1886) is an original oil-on-canvas painting that is over 100 years old. Leslie was an English landscape painter during the Victorian era. Being from a family of painters and strongly influenced by his grandfather, Edward Williams, another successful landscape painter, Leslie learnt to paint during his formative years.
