Provenance: as with all the works we have by this artist, it has come from the artists estate in France. Description: This vibrant and characterful Mid-20th Century Post-Impressionist watercolour by Anne Marie Migette Perard captures a colourful harbour scene in France, dated 1961. In the foreground, a cluster of fishing boats painted in bold reds and blues float calmly on green-hued water. One boat features a billowing brown sail, adding texture and movement to the composition. The French flag flutters above the rooftops, anchoring the scene unmistakably in a coastal French town.
