The scene before me felt exactly like that.", said Daria about this artwork. "I painted it at noon, facing the sun, as flashes of light bounced across the stormy ocean waves like little sparks. The low shrubs, shaped like miniature trees, are typical of the Hawaiian coast. In the distance, the silhouettes of mountains emerged through a veil of salty haze. Sunlight sparkled on the grass — everything merged into a single flow of light and air." The painting will look especially striking on a large wall with natural light. It brings a feeling of freshness and motion into the space. For the best effect, a wide dark frame is recommended. The artwork is painted in oil on American canvas, which I hand-stretched over a custom wooden stretcher. It was created using professional Italian and French oil paints, and finished with a glossy Italian varnish to protect the surface. Painted in the U.S., this piece is available without international shipping or customs fees. Daria Molostnova lives and works in Hawaii, where she discovered the true beauty of the surrounding world. Her paintings reflect the local reality, expressed through her personal cultural code. A graduate of the Russian State University of Design and Applied Arts named Stroganoff, she earned her master's degree, blending the traditions of classical education with a contemporary artistic perspective. Daria grew up in a family of professional artists, her mother being a renowned designer and lead doll artist of the Soviet Union. Since 1997, Daria has been a member of the Moscow Union of Artists, and since 1998, a member of the International Union of Journalists. She has taught at the Russian-Italian Art School Perotti and the Correspondence People's University of Arts. She has conducted numerous workshops both in Russia and abroad, as well as team-building activities for companies such as Harpers Bazaar, Mercedes, and Coca-Cola. Daria has participated in international artist residencies in such countries as Bosnia, France, and Italy. She is a participant in many Russian and international art fairs, competitions, and exhibitions. Currently, she collaborates with galleries in Hawaii and California. Her works are held in several Russian museums, as well as in private collections both in Russia and abroad. 2025 her painting "Big Storm" won the first prize in the art competition of the Plein Air Magazine in US. Daria's paintings are a fusion of flawless craftsmanship and a vivid sense of life that her work conveys.
