About the Artist
Artist Diana Rosa creates surreal and playful paintings that explore the depth of human emotion and the interplay between the ordinary and the fantastical. "I take what is most personal and assume it is universal, transforming my experiences into stories that invite the viewer to reflect on their own lives," says Diana. Her work blends elegance, sensuality, and spirituality in dreamlike environments, with humans, animals, and plants appearing in subtly ambiguous forms. She works from a studio filled with art materials, books, and music, often painting on multiple canvases at once using easels, tables, or the floor to capture intricate detail. Diana’s process combines sketches, sharp brush strokes, palette knives, and layered acrylics to create richly colored, complex compositions. Outside the studio, she enjoys decorating and organizing her spaces, cooking, reading, gardening, traveling, exhibiting and visiting art, exercising, and watching films.
