George Smith 1829 - 1901. A fashionable genre painter who painted in the Cranbrook Colony manner. He studied at the R.A. Schools and exhibited at the Royal Academy, British Institution and at the Royal Society of British Artists. Fine original frame. Signed oil on panel 5.5 x 6 inches. Frame size 13 x 12 inches.
