The embroidery-like patterns reference folk traditions, reminiscent of the careful stitching used to preserve cultural identity across generations. The fragmented and desaturated flowers suggest the gradual fading of heritage, disrupted by time and change, yet still holding traces of resilience. This piece reflects on the delicate balance between holding onto one’s native land and evolving with the shifting tides of history and modernity." About the Artist: Katrin Savich is an artist who works in a variety of media. The artist reflects on inner transformations driven by the exploration in psychology. Katrin analyzes cause-and-effect relationship. Her artworks represent her experiences, observations and consiousness. Her primary source of inspiration resides in meditation and self-acquaintance.
