Landscape with trees. 1991, canvas, cardboard, oil, 34x49 cm Valdis Bush (1924-2014) studied at the Art academy of Latvia (1945 – 1950), his favorite professors being A. Skride, L. Svemps, yet he did not graduate from the academy with a diploma work. 1943 - 1944 - service at legion, 1944 - service at Red army, 1945 – demobilization. He worked as a teacher at Far East (1949), the Ukraine, Belogorsk (1950 – 1955), Riga’s Printing craft school (1955 – 1969). 1973 - the member of Latvian Artists union. Artist took part at exhibitions since 1971. 1979-1988 - manager of Jurmala's artists. A member of Jurmala Artists’ Union. Awarded with a diploma at “Arona – 82” competition. Solo exhibition: Jurmala, Riga, Brussels, Paris. Artist took part at 100 exhibitions and 40 from them was solo exhibitions. Exhibitions: Since 1971 member of Jurmala Artists’ Union. Awarded with a diploma at “Arona – 82” competition. 1943 - 1944 - service at legion, 1944 - service at Red army, 1945 - demobilization 1945 - 1950 - Latvian Art Academy 1973 - the member of Latvian Artists union. Artist took part at exhibitions since 1971. 1979-1988 - manager of Jurmala's artists Solo exhibition: Jurmala - 1972, 1982, 1987; Riga - 1975, 1980, 1985, 1988, 1992; Brussels - 1990 Paris - 1993. Kekava, Ogre - 1983, Jaunkalsnava - 1984; Balvi - 1989.
