About the Item

The painting depicts three sea shells against a light drapery background. The entire composition of the painting is a single color space consisting of silver, mother-of-pearl, pearl and olive shades. The painting is done in a manner reminiscent of pointellism, when each brushstroke, in the form of a dot, a stroke, without mixing with the others, "plays" with its own shade, making up a common color scheme together with the neighboring ones. The red terracotta shade of the largest shell is a contrast to the overall neutral, but rich in shades, range. The painting is sold without a frame. The sides are not painted. It will perfectly decorate any interior, both business and private: a living room, an office, a dining room and a nursery. The gallery presents Dmitry Yevtushenko, a professional artist who lives and works in Germany. Dmitry graduated from the Moscow Secondary Art School at the Surikov Institute and the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. In art, he prefers to follow the traditions of craftsmanship, multiplied by direct impressions from what he has seen and experienced. And never stops improving his craftsmanship and artistic language. Dmitry has participated in several dozen group and solo exhibitions in Russia and Germany. The artist's works are in private collections in the USA, Canada, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Ukraine, Russia, etc. A number of portraits are in the collection of the A. A. Bakhrushin Theatre Museum. In 2007, the publishing house "White City" released a monograph with reproductions of his paintings in the series "Masters of Painting".
