About the Item

This painting depicts a lively, abundant bouquet arranged in a clear glass vase set on a warm wooden surface. The background is a deep, nearly black tone, which makes the colors of the flowers appear especially vivid and illuminated. The arrangement feels fresh and slightly untamed, with stems and blossoms extending outward in different directions. Bright, saturated blooms draw the eye: fiery oranges and reds, a glowing yellow rose, soft pinks, and crisp whites. Smaller blue and purple flowers are scattered throughout, adding rhythm and contrast. Rounded, pale green leaves and delicate buds weave between the larger blossoms, softening the composition and giving it a sense of movement. The glass vase is painted with loose, reflective strokes, revealing the stems gathered inside. Hints of blue and green reflections suggest light passing through water, adding a cool counterpoint to the warmer tones of the table and flowers. The tabletop itself is rendered in golden browns, with visible brushwork that suggests grain and light falling across its surface. This grounds the bouquet and adds a quiet, domestic setting to the otherwise energetic display. Overall, the painting balances structure and spontaneity. The bouquet feels carefully composed yet natural, with confident brushstrokes and a strong sense of color harmony bringing the scene to life. Lori Eubanks is inspired by the French Impressionists, but dedicated to her own unique approach to form. Her work is loose, intuitive and richly complex. Lori finds inspiration in her travels throughout the United States and Europe. She is most recognized for her colorful, vibrant palette. People often say her paintings are very uplifting and make them feel happy when they look at them. Lori's work is eagerly sought by art enthusiasts and can be found in numerous private and corporate collections. About the artist: Her love of painting began at an early age but her growth as an artist has accelerated in the last 10 years. Her medium of choice is oil. She is primarily self taught, but has taken many workshops, including a 10 day trip to France which included painting in Monet’s garden. She is represented by galleries across the United States and is also part of many private and corporate collections. “I believe in having a lot of fun in life! I express myself boldly thru painting and have a passion for all things beautiful. When I am in my studio with the right music playing and a cold Corona in my hand, sometimes it all just comes together like magic!” -Lori Eubanks Tags: Female Artist, Colorful, Floral, Flower, Garden, Hydrangea, Bush, Green, Blue
