He spent his earliest years at Edwards Air Force in California where he first developed an appreciation of high desert landscapes. His family eventually settled in Ft. Worth, TX, and later Dallas, where Ridley currently lives and works. Ridley has been photographing Texas landscapes in black and white with large format cameras for over thirty years.
