Model with Longhaired Cat -- Shot for the May 1954 issue of Mademoiselle, Mark Shaw photographs a grey Persian cat in the arms of model dressed in white. The Persian Longhair is one of the oldest cat breeds with a provenance of Iran (ancient Persia). In the United States it has been the most popular breed for many years. The Persian has a peaceful nature which makes it an ideal choice for apartment living. Image size is 16" x 16" (for 17" x 22" paper size). All Mark Shaw prints are made to order in limited editions on Hahnemuhle photo rag paper. Each print is Estate stamped on the back and signed and numbered by David Shaw, and accompanied by a letter of authenticity.
