"Wrapped Series Untitled #25" Photography 1/10 34" x 23" inch by Robert Mack 2013 Photograph, archival exhibition paper Aluminum mount, UV mat protection Signed and numbered by the artist Comes with COA issued by the artist Edition 1 of 10 + 2AP Visual artist, Robert Mack, exhibits his ongoing WRAPPED SERIES photography, films and paintings, where he covers subjects with sheer material creating intimate, moody work, that examines themes of emotions, dreams, beauty, death, even transcendence. Where Christo wraps buildings, Robert wraps people. His Wrapped Series photographs and films are cap- tured at sunrise in the southern Californian hi-desert. Robert uses both digital and film mediums, without assistants or artifical lighting, creating intimate images that remain pure. During a session, he swirls the sheer material in a way “ to paint “ his subjects with resulting artwork that looks more like paintings than traditional photography. Robert’s photographs capture a moment of experience that reveals an inner deeper nature and asks us to reconsider them again and again. Robert Mack is a visual artist, photographer, and filmmaker. His fine art photography and films received major exhibitions at the Baltimore Museum of Art, the Reiss-Engelhorn Museum in Mannheim, Germany and both museums purchased Robert’s artwork for their permanent collections. Robert also exhibits his work at galler- ies here in America and throughout Europe. “To me, there is nothing more interesting to photograph than the human face and form. A subject and pho- tographer can enter into an unspoken pact and when this occurs the resulting image has the potential to transcend the two participants.“ Robert Mack
