This artwork "Lanscape with Trees" 1976 is color photograph by American photographer Steve Solinsky, b.1945. It is hand signed, dated and numbered 121/125 in pencil by the artist. The photograph size is 17.25 x 13.55 inches, framed size is 24.25 x 20.15 inches. Custom framed in a off white metal frame, with white matting. The artwork is in excellent condition, the frame has minors scratches. About the artist: Steve Solinsky was born in Berkeley, California, in 1945. With a compelling interest in art and design, he entered the University of California in 1963 and in 1969 graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture degree. For several years he utilized his design training as a freelance graphic artist. It was during this time that he began his career as a fine art photographer. The influence of his early training is evident in his work today. Since 1975 he has made his living primarily through the sale of his fine art prints. His photographs have been exhibited in many galleries and museums throughout the country.

Many of the idyllic memories of this childhood inform his imagination and enter into his work. Moving from a very small farming and ranching community, he was plunged into the crazed consumer culture of Southern California. He lived in La Mesa, California and watched as the entire face of America changed with Vietnam, rampant divorce, and then the summer of love. About the artist: Born in Louisville, Kentucky in 1856, Frank joseph Girardin began his art instruction in 1870 under Frank Noble and later Frank Duveneck at the Cincinnati Art Academy. A semi-pro baseball player in Cincinnati, he was best known for his beautiful landscapes of both Indiana and California. An extremely active participant in the development of the Art Association of Richmond and original member of the local Sketch Club, he served on the Board of Directors of Art Association for several years. He was considered ranked next to the late John E. Bundy in talent and skill by the former Art Association Director, Mrs. Ella Bond Johnston.
