RECEIVING HAND a finely detailed hand drawn example of Fantastic Realism, portrays a falling round stone form with a broken slice hovering over an open receiving hand creating a mystical, metaphysical scene engaging the viewer into another world. NYC - Joseph Kleineman, Master Printer DE ES (DE ES Schwertberger) - Popular Viennese Fantastic Realist artist was born in 1942 in Gresten, Lower Austria, as Dieter Schwertberger. He studied the painting technique of the Old Masters in Vienna under Ernst Fuchs and has been an independent artist since 1962. DE ES lived three years in Switzerland and twelve years in New York City. The painter has been known under the name DE ES since 1972. He currently lives in Vienna. The artist considers himself to be a seeker, who shows what he has found through “the language of the images”. His message of “meaning and transformation” finds clear and intense expression in his paintings through a precise use of space, light and texture. De Es' was the featured artist for Omni magazine for many years. Omni magazine was a science and science fiction monthly published in the US and the UK. It contained articles on science, parapsychology, and short works of science fiction and fantasy. his artworks have been exhibited and collected worldwide.

COUPS DE TÊTE is a hand drawn, stone lithograph by the French artist Chrisitian Zeimert printed in Paris France c.1974 using hand lithography techniques on archival Rives BFK printmaking paper, 100% acid free. COUPS DE TÊTE presents a surreal, close-up portrait of a two male elk head-butting with a group of books between their opposing heads. Visible on the books spines are the names of members belonging to the 1960s Panic Movement group. Panic Movement (French: Mouvement panique) was an art collective formed by Fernando Arrabal, Alejandro Jodorowsky, and Roland Topor in Paris in 1962. Inspired by and named after the god Pan, and influenced by Luis Buñuel and Antonin Artaud's Theatre of Cruelty, the group concentrated on chaotic and surreal performance art, as a response to surrealism becoming mainstream. Print size - 13 x 15.25 in., unframed, very good condition, rare pencil signed printer's proof, inscribed H.C. with personal dedication to the master printer "Joseph", edition size unknown Image size - 8.25 x 10.5 in. Year - c. 1974 Christian Zeimer (1934 - 2020) was a French painter, the son of an upholsterer and designer who also worked as a salesman and Le Bon Marché. After he left the École Boulle, he learned how to engrave on jewelry. He then studied at the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs, where he studied under the painter Marcel Gromaire. A libertarian and anarchist, he worked alongside Fernando Arrabal, Alejandro Jodorowsky, Olivier O. Olivier, and Roland Topor and participated in the Panic Movement in the 1960s.
