About the Item

Le Duc d'Urbin is a black and white etching on Chine paper attached, by Félix Bracquemond, after Tiziano. This modern artwork representing the noblemen with his child in an official pose is realized with a sure touch. This original print was printed by A. Salmon, Paris, as the notes under the image reports. In excellent conditions: as good as new, except for some minor stains on the lower margin and beyond the marginal line of the matrix. White cardboard passepartout included, cm 30.5 x 22.5 Original Title: Le duc d'Urbin et son fils Reference: Béz., 322 Félix Bracquemond (Paris, 1833 - Sèvres, 1914) Félix Bracquemond was a French painter, also known as Auguste Joseph Bracquemond. He played an essential role in the renewal of the art of engravings encouraged by Édouard Manet, Edgar Degas and Camille Pissarro.
