The Pincers is an original artwork realized by Jim Dine in 1973. Hand-signed in pencil on the lower left margin, dated, numbered edition of 49/75 prints. Good conditions, except for some cuts on the whitish margins of the frame, which do not affect the artwork. Impressive artwork represented through complex simplicity, the well-defined performance of aesthetic visual codes, neat and delicate creation of a hard object "pincers". Jim Dine (Cincinnati, Ohio, 1935) is an American artist who rejected any formal association with Pop Art, but who is still commonly considered an important exponent of this art movement.
