About the Item

Decalogue N°1 is an original artwork realized by Lucio del Pezzo between 1976 and 1978. It is part of "Decalogue", a portfolio of ten sheets, numbered variously from the total edition of XXV. Hand-signed. Very good conditions. The artwork represents a blue and grey frame inside which there is a collage with the representation of a child. The withe silhouette is stuck on the surface of the sheet and represents Baby Jesus or an angel. Lucio Del Pezzo (Napoli, 1933) is a popular Italian artist, painter and sculptor. He is the founder of Gruppo 58 , he collaborated with Documento Sud. His works from the period 1958-1960 proposed assemblies of various objects, including fragments of prints and popular images. In 1960 he moved to Paris, then to Milan, where several monographic exhibitions were dedicated.
