About the Item

Breakthrough is a 1950 American war film directed by Lewis Seiler and starring John Agar about an American infantry unit in World War II. The story of an American infantry unit from its basic training to combat in Europe. The WW2 period featured is one that is usually skipped over despite the importance and difficulty of that time.
