About the Item

Published in Paris by Chalcographie Louvre around 1910. Drypoint etching on buff wove paper, 7 x 11 inches (175 x 278 mm) full margins. With the "Musée Louvre Chalcographie" blind stamp in the lower center margin. Moderate mat tone, minor scattered light foxing, striated moderate toning from a non-archival cardboard mount on the verso. Small cross-shaped mark in blue ink on the left sheet edge, verso. Archival tape adhesive along the top sheet edge, recto. An impression of the work may be found in the permanent collection of the Cleveland Art Museum.
