About the Item

This original, museum quality monoprint by renowned print maker Bill Flick features his signature skull design in bright red, pink and orange tones. Comes signed by the aritst. BILL FICK is a North Carolina-based printmaker associated with the "Outlaw Printmaking" movement. The faces of monsters populate his linocut prints, and, for Fick, are a means of confronting and giving physical form to the unknown, the misunderstood, and the ugly events and forces that are seemingly ubiquitous in today's world. Currently, Fick teaches at Duke University and is the director of Supergraphic, a creative studio that produces fine art prints.
