About the Item

Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) - De mémoir d'homme, Planche I Lithograph from 1950. An unnumbered copy from a limited edition of 350. Dimensions of work: 32 x 25 cm Publisher: Éditions Bordas, Paris. Reference: Bloch 665 -- An original lithograph from Picasso’s 1950 portfolio De Mémoire d’homme, created in collaboration with the renowned Dadaist poet Tristan Tzara. This particular impression comes from the unnumbered portion of the limited edition of 350 published by Éditions Bordas in Paris. Picasso, ever the innovator, adopted an unconventional and intimate technique for this series, applying pigment with his fingers rather than with traditional brushes or tools. This gestural, almost primal act imbues the composition with a striking immediacy and human presence, echoing the surreal and existential undertones of Tzara’s poetic text. The work is in Excellent condition. Fast and secure shipment.
