About the Item

"Apple of Eden" is about us. About how our outer and inner worlds often don’t match. On the outside, everything seems solid and textured, but inside, there might be fragility, tenderness, or unexpected depth. The apple, a symbol of knowledge, takes on a new meaning here. Its core is made of salt and sealed with epoxy resin, creating a striking contrast with the soft, fabric-covered form. I wanted to explore how different our essence can be from our appearance. This sculpture is decorative in form but deeply philosophical in concept. It raises questions: How honest are we with ourselves? What do we show the world, and what do we keep hidden? A piece for interiors with meaning. A work for collections with soul.
