Scultore attivo probabilmente in Francia alla fine del XIX secolo. La scultura raffigura un soggetto particolarmente famoso di Jean-Baptiste Carpeaux (1827-1875), intitolato "Le Rieuse napolitain", ma riporta sul retro la sigla "A.C.". Riteniamo qundi che si tratti di uno scultore non identificato che ha realizzato una versione in marmo della scultura di Carpeaux probabilmente all'epoca molto richiesta.
