About the Item

An authenticated work Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity issued by Paloma Ruiz-Picasso and Diana Widmaier-Ruiz-Picasso, dated October 17, 2024. A stamped work This unique painted and glazed ceramic bears the "Madoura Plein Feu" stamp on the reverse. 1952: a period of full experimentation in Vallauris In 1952, Picasso was in a phase of intense creative exploration, redefining ceramics as a total art form. In Vallauris, he merged sculpture, painting, and design into a single medium, transforming clay into a complete artistic language. The fish: a symbol of renewal and freedom In Trois Poissons, Picasso transforms the traditional motif of the fish into a vibrant composition filled with movement and character. The stylized forms and bright palette convey both humor and vitality, evoking the Mediterranean world so dear to the artist.
