SEMION RABINKOV "UNICYCLE HORN PLAYER" BRONZE, SIGNED, NUMBERED 1/9 MOLDOVAN-AMERICAN, C.1990'S 27.5 INCHES Semion was born in Chisinau, Moldova, 1954. In 1973 he graduated from Repine College of Art in Chisinau and received Sculptor’s Diploma. Specializing in monumental sculpture. He started his career as a sculptor in Chisinau, where he worked from 1973-1990 and he installed some outdoor sculptures in the city of Chisinau. He continued working as a sculptor after moving to Israel in 1990. His sculptures have been published in numerous Newspapers and Magazines; Israel, France, Russia, USA. In 2003-2005 assisted in creating and establishing memorial monument (Trinity Root) of the World Trade Center attacks in New York City on September 11, 2001. In 2004, he was selected as a winner at the Art Global Competition of the Amsterdam Whitney Gallery in New York City. Semion has many works in private, corporate collections and museums, among them C.A.S.E. Museum of Contemporary Russian Art in Jersey City and National Liberty Museum in Philadelphia. ULISES JIMENEZ "MUSICA" METAL, SIGNED COSTA RICA, 2022 30 INCHES Ulises Jiménez Obregón was born in La Mansion de Nicoya, Costa Rica, in November 1953. He studied Plastic Arts at the Autonomous University of Central America. 1992 He attended the drawing and painting workshop of the painter Eduardo Barracosa, and followed courses of painting at the ESEMPI School of Art, with the painter Francisco Alvarado Avella. In addition to making sculptures in wood and stone "nicoya marble", he is also a painter. As a sculptor he has around 300 sculptures cataloged and sold all over the world, with works in Europe, Latin America, North America, Canada and Asia. EXHIBITIONS: From 1984 to 2010, he has participated in more than 50 group exhibitions, among others: National Exhibition of Plastic Arts of the Costa Rican Art Museum.
