Harshang Antique

The borders next to the guard borders are a looser variant on a harshang or "crab" design border. And of course the main border highlight by a lovey indigo blue is comprised.  

This modestly woven room size carpet shows a medium blue field with a five column, much modified Harshang design with symmetrical rosettes replacing ragged palmettes.
