A striking pair of paste earrings in the form of a flower or rose, from the early 1950s. Although unsigned (as often happened with a brooch and earrings, where the brooch was signed and the earrings not signed), they are without doubt the matching earrings to an iconic C Dior/M Maer jewel, 'Wild Rose', a rare and beautiful design, the brooch (pictures are shown below) being 'en tremblant' (the central flower is spring mounted).
