Harrison Ford, Cowboy, black and white, Limited Edition, Fine Art Print, 1988

By Timothy White

Located in Vienna, AT

Powerful, cinematic, and unmistakably American, Timothy White’s "Harrison Ford, Jackson, Wyoming, c. 1988" captures one of Hollywood’s most enduring actors in a setting that echoes the mythology of the American West. Photographed in Jackson, Wyoming during the late 1980s, the image presents Ford on horseback against an expansive Western landscape, embodying the rugged independence and quiet strength that have defined many of his most celebrated screen roles. Renowned for his ability to create portraits that reveal both personality and narrative, Timothy White approached celebrity photography with a distinctive blend of authenticity and visual storytelling. In this striking black-and-white image, the dynamic relationship between rider, horse, and open landscape evokes the classic Western tradition while simultaneously presenting a contemporary portrait of a cultural icon. The composition is filled with movement and tension, yet remains elegantly balanced, reflecting White’s exceptional command of light, timing, and atmosphere. Few actors have left a greater mark on modern cinema than Harrison Ford. From blockbuster adventures to critically acclaimed dramatic performances, his career has spanned decades and produced some of the most recognizable characters in film history. Rather than relying on studio glamour, White places Ford within a dramatic outdoor setting, creating a portrait that feels timeless, heroic, and deeply connected to the mythology of American storytelling. Created in Jackson, Wyoming around 1988, the photograph belongs to an important period in both Ford’s career and White’s celebrated body of portrait work. The image captures the actor away from the Hollywood spotlight...

"Leading Horse", Kansas City, 1997

By Pete Kelly

Located in Hudson, NY

This will be shipped direct from the artist to you or your framer. In this photograph a silhouetted horse follows a silhouetted figure closely as they trek through a field. The use of abstracted figures helps emphasize the emotional aspect of Kelly's main theme: the bond between humans and animals. Pete Kelly finds his inspiration in nature and the landscape. Specifically focusing on, "The reclamation by nature of urban settings", Kelly finds a particularly strong aesthetic and power in the beauty of the urban landscape. "I try to see beauty around me, drawing beauty from ugliness by capturing close up textures of fading paint or graffiti, or by reducing the shape of the subject to silhouette." Kelly's fascination with photography, the quality, and flexibility of the medium began at a very early age. Born in England in 1966, and as the son of a military man, Kelly spent most of his childhood growing up in West Germany. After leaving school Kelly enrolled in a photography course with the R. A. F Photographic Unit, based in Wildenrath in Germany. Although this initial training lasted only six months, it established a life long passion and dedication to photography. Already an avid traveller, Kelly initially decided to return to the UK,
to study Graphic Design at Stockport College, before moving to America in 1987. After completing an Internship at an innovative commercial photography studio in America,
Kelly began working as a Photographers Assistant. Working closely with a range of photographers allowed him to intrinsically develop his own
refined sense of aesthetic as well as develop and master photographic theory and technique. Now working as a Fine Art Photographer in his own right,
Pete Kelly utilizes the most cutting edge equipment and techniques,
painting with photography by compositing and layering photographs...

White diamonds are more valuable the higher the clarity and lower the color. Because colorless diamonds are so rare, they are prized over yellower diamonds.
    1stDibs ExpertAugust 24, 2021
Yes, white diamonds are considered to be more valuable. Since most white diamonds have a natural hue, the ones that have a higher color grade, excellent cut, and uncompromising clarity are more valuable than a white diamond with a tinge of yellow. Hence, the clearer and more colorless the diamond is, the rarer and more valuable it is. Find white diamond jewelry on 1stDibs.

A white Oxford shirt is a white dress shirt or casual sports shirt made of Oxford cloth, which is a durable and heavily structured fabric that consists of multiple weft threads that cross over an equal number of warp threads. Oxford cloth is said to have originated in a Scottish mill during the 19th century. The popularization of the Oxford cloth button-down shirt style, which is commonly abbreviated as OCBD, has been traced to when Brooks Brothers president John Brooks witnessed a polo match in England back then. He was so compelled by the fact that the players’ shirt collars were fastened to their shirts with buttons that he returned to the States and created a shirt design informed by the players’ garments. Oxford shirts now come in all kinds of colors and prints. On 1stDibs, shop a variety of shirts.
