About the Item
Sophisticated occasion dress from Escada, dating to the late 1990s or early 2000s. The dress has an abstract floral print in navy, purple and pink silk and is an unusual shirt-waister design designed to look like coordinating separates. The back fastening chemise top has a hidden button stand whilst the skirt is made to look like a wrap style which the chemise 'tucks into'. The back of the skirt zips up to align with the button stand and the whole look has a gentle A-line shape to it. There is a separate, wide fabric belt that is double sided in both grosgrain and fabric that wraps around and fastens to the front or back as desired.
It is absolutely beautifully made as all Escada clothes are. Labelled a European size 38, this equates to a UK size 10, US size 6. Great vintage condition, this looks barely worn with no issues.
