About the Item

Alberta Ferretti designed this dress in 2019. Couture-crafted, it was made for actress Eva Longoria, who wore it to the Cannes Film Festival the same year. Generously designed from swathes of creamy white silk, it is tailored to an extreme mini-dress cut. It has a strapless top and the bust has high sides and forms a classic longline bustier silhouette. The fabric is gathered and folded at the front to look like a large bow pinned to the body sideways. The bottom ear of the bow gives way to a dramatic waterfall hem that cascades around the legs into a long train at the back. At the back of the dress, the cream silk sweeps across the gown around to the front, where it holds the structure of the draped cloth in place. The front of the dress is adorned with several thousand Swarovski rhinestones. Circular rhinestones, which increase in size as they travel along the cloth, fall down the left side of the dress and peek out from underneath the waterfall hem. The dress is fully lined with matte cream silk. Inside the dress is a strapless nude bodysuit. Fully boned around the whole body and underwired at the bust, the bodysuit offers support and holds the gown perfectly in place. This dress is in excellent condition and has been professionally archived and stored. The label reads “Alberta Ferretti Limited Edition". Due to the dress being couture-made, there is no size or composition label, so please check the below measurements closely. The fabric has no stretch. We believe it will fit up to a UK 8-10 or US 4-6 and suit someone smaller in stature. MEASUREMENTS BUST - 34 in. (86 cm) WAIST - 30 in. (76 cm) HIP - 42 in. (107 cm) LENGTH - 67 in. (170 cm)
