About the Item

This dress is draped so beautifully designed by the American powerhouse duo of Badgley Mischka. The sleeveless bustier is boned inside and ruched to hug and curve the body. The pleats under the bust provide a romantic movement when worn with a layer of poly-silk like lining. One of the most flattering dresses we have seen on our model. Size 6. The outside fabric is an imported crepe poly that looks like silk. This dress looks like a current shocking pink Italian designer dress that is so very popular right now. The team of BM were way ahead of their time. Mark Badgley and James Mischka are known for glamorous, polished design and special-occasion style. Over three decades, their work has become a favorite for red carpet moments and eveningwear. They met at Parsons School of Design in New York and found a shared aesthetic. Before launching their label, Mark designed for Donna Karan, and James designed menswear for WilliWear WilliSmith. They launched Badgley Mischka in 1988 and have built a signature that feels modern yet timeless, welcoming women of many ages. The brand continues to evolve while staying true to its refined point of view. Their designs highlight fine fabrics, precise craftsmanship, and an element of interest in the silhouette or in a luxurious detail. "Our style nods to classic Hollywood glamour; the signature is simple, streamlined, and elegant," says James. "One zip and you are glamorous. We keep it effortless, so a woman can change after work for an evening out," says Mark. Badgley Mischka is carried by leading retailers worldwide, including Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, and Saks Fifth Avenue.
