About the Item
A unique piece from renowned coat and suit manufacturer Lilli Ann, this vest is extravagantly and boldly decorated with large multicolored paillettes in geometric shapes that echo the overall geometric pattern of the piece. The geometric pattern of circles and triangles is formed with small beads and sequins coordinating with the primary colored paillettes, all done on a white knit wool ground. The vest is collarless and open down the front; lined in white. Made in Hong Kong, known for the mid-century production of beaded sweaters imported to this country, but we have never seen an bold, modern example such as this. For the photo, it is paired with a purple silk straight skirt and an earlier marabou collar, which is featured separately on the site.
