Wathne was a high-end luxury lifestyle brand known for its equestrian, hunting, fishing, and sporting-themed apparel and accessories. The Thoroughbreds are a premium breed of "hot-blooded" horse best known for its incredible speed, agility, and stamina in horse racing. The horses are adorned with their custom racing stable silks. Founded in the 1990s by three Icelandic sisters (Thorunn, Berge, and Soffia Wathne) and famously located on W. 57th Street in New York City, the brand closed its flagship location in 2001. They specialized in premium materials like wool, silk, and leather.
