Pair of large antique Meiji period Japanese ceramic vases depicting cockerels and dragons by Kinkozan, the revered family of potters from the Awata district of Kyoto, renowned for their exceptional and unique Kyoto style of Satsuma ware known as Kyo-Satsuma, each 24 1/2 by 12 by 11 inches and each 13 1/2 lbs.

    Repaired: Each apparently with old professional restorations to the rims. Wear consistent with age and use. Both vases seems to have been professionally resorted at the Rim (Very hard to see the restoration with naked eye, they present very well) scratches and scattered small losses, including chips to the glaze near the foot.
