Pair 19th Century Chinese Glazed Pickling Jars. Each of these glazed ceramic jars have small, hemmed openings, linear striations pressed in the upper shoulders and a circular stamp. The surface of each is glazed in an olive green color. The jars have been used throughout Southeastern Asia for the transport, storage and fermentation of foods Condition: Great patination. Good condition. No cracks or breaks. Glaze crackle noticed. Wear commensurate with age and use. See photos and video. Measurements: Each – H 14” x Diameter 9.5” Opening, D 2.75” Foot, D 7”
