Antique Kashmiri Indian Silver Meenakari Enamel Hexagonal Box c1900 A finely worked antique silver hexagonal box from Kashmir, dating to the late 19th / early 20th century. Decorated throughout with crisp hand-chased floral and foliate designs, highlighted with rich blue and turquoise enamel panels in the traditional Kashmiri manner. The hinged lid opens to a fully gilded interior, with matching chased decoration to the underside of the lid, indicating a good quality piece. The workmanship is sharp and consistent across all panels. Condition: Very good antique condition with minimal wear; enamel remains bright and intact. 19th century Burmese bronze temple bell with original carved hardwood stand, painted iron hanging bracket, and striker. This rare large scale cast bronze bell has a splendid sculptural and spiritual presence. The bell has a long inscription on the upper part.
