About the Item

Fabulous pair of late 19th Century cast brass fire dogs with a charming zoomorphic aesthetic. The unique form offers twists and turns in all the right places and curlicues as a perfect accent. Unsigned though appears to be French in origin. CONDITION Very good condition with age appropriate patina and some signs of polish residue. MEASUREMENTS Each fire dog measures 12.25" tall x 5.75" wide x 7.5" deep.
