About the Item

Spectacular pair of large (44w x 30d x 36.5h) hand wrought and forged iron andirons C1880 France. The amount of work that went into each piece of these is exquisite and of the highesr quality. Assembled they are the best in terms of size and proportion. Heavy but not ridiculously heavy. Ironwork is very consistent and well maintained over the years. They have a connecting bar the can be used for stability and its beauty or not used. Seriously doubt these would ever fall over without the bar which locks them up. In excellent antique condition with minimal wear, one piece of decoration is missing on the part back left of the left andiron. Neither functional or onvious. Priced and sold as a set of three Please see all pics and video as that is part of the description
