An antique cast iron plunger bathtub with stylised fish shaped feet, by Ewart and Son Ltd, circa 1880. This cast iron piece is of English heritage and Victorian style; it would certainly make a perfect fit for a country home or vintage style townhouse. Its interesting fish shaped feet and smooth white painted finish only compliment its overall style. Ewart & Son (Est. 1834) Marked ‘Ewart and Son Ltd’ of Euston Road, London, this antique bath is a rare find. We have only ever seen one other bath by Ewart and Son, who are best known in English history for their water heaters and copper ventilators. For this reason, this copper bath is an unusual piece, becoming the focal point of any antique style bathroom.
